A note from Keith King,

CSEC Administrator...

Thank you for taking the time to view the web site for Colorado Springs Early Colleges.  This school is directed by our Mission Statement:  Every student, regardless of background or skill level, will achieve mastery and will demonstrate that they can succeed in high school, in college, and in their chosen career.  No exceptions.  No excuses.

We are a public charter school which welcomes every student.  We have structured a Student Bill of Rights which helps focus our efforts on helping every student achieve success.  Alan Kay stated:  The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

Colorado Springs Early Colleges was the first high school in the Pikes Peak region to allow a student to earn an Associate’s Degree while still in high school, FREE.  Our goal is to prepare students as quickly as possible for college and then pay for their opportunity to complete college courses while still in high school.  In any given school year over 75 percent of our students are taking college courses.

We welcome your interest in our school and hope you consider taking advantage of this unique opportunity at CSEC where every student is given the opportunity to succeed and perform to the limit of their ability.

CSEC partners with PPCC to offer college courses to CSEC students as part of CSEC's normal school day.

CSEC is authorized by Charter School Institute, a state-wide organization that acts somewhat like a school district.

Colorado League of Charter Schools supports CSEC with training and other services.

Many CSEC students attend off-campus classes at Pikes Peak CC, Arapahoe CC, RedRocks CC, Community College of Aurora and University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
