CSEC offers three Colleges of Study:

College of ASPIRE Studies

Goal:  Baccalaureate 
(4-year) Degree

College of ASCENT Studies

Goal:  Associates Degree of Arts & Science

 

College of EMERGENT Studies

Goal:  Associates Degree of Applied Science

Diplomas:

Summa Cum Laude (with highest praise)
20 high school credits + 60 credit hours or more or and Associates Degree or higher

Magna cum Laude (with great praise)
20 high school credits + 30 or more college semester hours

Cum Laude (with praise)
20 high school credits + up to 29 college semester hours
(Must have administrative approval)

 

All students, upon enrollment, are automatically entered into the Ascent, Magna Cum Laude program.  CSEC’s main goal is that every student will graduate from high school with 20 high school credits PLUS 30 college credits.  Academic Advisors will work with students to place them in a different plan if appropriate.

 

 

CSEC partners with PPCC to offer college courses to CSEC students as part of CSEC's normal school day.

         

CSEC is authorized by Charter School Institute, a state-wide organization that acts somewhat like a school district.

           

Colorado League of Charter Schools supports CSEC with training and other services.
            

Many CSEC students attend off-campus classes at Pikes Peak CC, Arapahoe CC, RedRocks CC, Community College of Aurora and University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
