School Accountability Committee

The CSEC School Accountability Committee (SAC) is comprised of CSEC parents, teachers, the Dean of Student Success, community members and student representatives.  The purpose of the CSEC SAC is to assist the administration and staff, identifying areas to improve the school with the goal of excellence in achieving and surpassing the Colorado State Standards. The SAC monitors the implementation and progress of educational programs and makes recommendations to the CSEC Governing Board and administration setting goals, objectives and action plans for maintaining and excelling at those standards and improving the school.  The SAC meets monthly throughout the school year and meetings are open to the public.

Meetings are open to the public and are held the second Tuesday of each month at 5:00 pm (unless otherwise indicated) in the CSEC Cafeteria, building 400.

April - Prepare End of the Year Report, Review Survey Results

May - Finalize End of the Year Report

CSEC partners with PPCC to offer college courses to CSEC students as part of CSEC's normal school day.

         

CSEC is authorized by Charter School Institute, a state-wide organization that acts somewhat like a school district.

           

Colorado League of Charter Schools supports CSEC with training and other services.
            

Many CSEC students attend off-campus classes at Pikes Peak CC, Arapahoe CC, RedRocks CC, Community College of Aurora and University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
