Closure and Delay Policy
 
CSEC will close ONLY when D11 closes.
 
CSEC will delay two hours:
if D11 delays or
if D20 delays or closes or
if D38 delays or closes or
if D49 delays or closes

We invite and encourage parents and students to log on to PowerSchool where they can see grades, assignments, attendance and daily bulletins.

CSEC does not use all of PowerSchool's features:

--Our lunch program uses a completely different system and is not reflected on PowerSchool.

BUS ROUTES

Bus 1- Southeast part of Colorado Springs:     

  1. First Stop – 6:56 am:  Edison Emerson Middle School on Coleridge Avenue at the west side of the school.   
  2. Second Stop – 7:00 am:  Murray and Chapman on the southwest corner of the intersection by the METRO bus stop sign. 
  3. Third Stop – 7:05 am:  Chelton and South Academy on the northeast corner in front of the Sand Creek Library.   
  4. Fourth Stop – 7:15 am:  Mission Trace Shopping Center in front of the Restored Life Church.   This is the building that faces Academy but backs up to Jetwing and Hancock.   
  5. Fifth Stop – 7:26 am:  McDonalds on south Circle next to the back of the lot near the frontage road.   
  6. Sixth Stop – 7: 44 am:  Arrive at Colorado Springs Early Colleges.

The bus is scheduled to leave Colorado Springs Early Colleges at 3:15 p.m.  The stops will be in reverse order.

  1. First Stop – 3:33 pm:  McDonalds on south Circle.
  2. Second Stop – 3: 44 pm:  Restored Life Church at Academy and Hancock.
  3. Third Stop – 3:50 pm:  Chelton and South Academy in front of the Sand Creek. Library
  4. Fourth Stop - 3:58 pm:  Murray and Chapman
  5. Fourth Stop – 4:04 pm:  Edison Emerson Middle School

 

 

Bus 2 – Central part of Colorado Springs

  1. First Stop – 6:50 am:  .Citadel Mall on the northwest side of the mall by the light pole at lot 3-B.
  2. Second Stop – 7:00 am:  Constitution and Powers at Hollywood Video.    
  3. Third Stop – 7:10 am:  Medical View Point Building at 6340 Barnes and Charlotte.
  4. Fourth Stop – 7:20 am:  Northeast corner of Austin Bluffs and Academic in the old Albertsons Parking lot on the northeast side of Waffle House – 4180 Austin Bluffs.
  5. Fifth Stop – 7:35 am:  Arrive at Colorado Springs Early colleges.

The bus is scheduled to leave Colorado Springs Early Colleges at 3:15 pm.  The stops will be in reverse order.

  1. First Stop – 3:30 pm:  Waffle House at Academy and Austin Bluffs.
  2. Second Stop – 3:45 pm:  Medical View building.
  3. Third Stop – 3:55 pm:  Constitution and Powers at Hollywood Video.
  4. Fourth Stop – 4:10 pm:  Citadel Mall

 

 

Bus 3 – Northeast part of Colorado Springs – This bus will now start in Falcon

  1. First Stop – 6:50 am:  Wal-Mart Parking Lot in Falcon on Woodmen across from Comfort Dental.
  2. Second Stop – 7:05 am:  Arby’s at Stetson Hills and Powers
  3. Third Stop – 7:20 am:  Southwest corner of Rangewood and Woodman near La Casita Restaurant. 
  4. Third Stop – 7:40 am:  Arrive at Colorado Springs Early Colleges.

The bus is scheduled to leave Colorado Springs Early Colleges at 3:15 p.m.  The stops will be in reverse order. 

  1. First Stop – 3:35 pm:  Southwest corner of Rangewood and Woodman near La Casita Restaurant.

Student Accountability Committee

The purpose of the CSEC School Accountability Committee (SAC) is to support the administration and staff in the goal of excellence in achieving and surpassing the Colorado State Standards. The SAC will make recommendations to the CSEC board and adminnistration for maintaining and excelling at those standards. The SAC will make recommendations to the administration and board for improving the school.
